URBANALOGY/PINOCCHIOARCHITETTO
Architetture, città e paesaggi immaginati o solo suggeriti da Carlo Lorenzini ne “Le avventure di Pinocchio. Storia di un burattino”, lasciati nel romanzo alla loro concretizzazione alla fantasia dei lettori, vengono qui reinterpretati tramite il disegno e la fotografia.
Le figure si confrontano dialetticamente tra invenzione e trasfigurazione della realtà partendo dalle vivide suggestioni della finzione narrativa. La fotografia e il disegno interpretano le vicende del burattino lasciando all'immaginazione i paesaggi ri-costruiti, densi di riferimenti agli spazi vissuti, in un viaggio dell’ovunque e del sempre.
In ogni epoca e ogni luogo è possibile raccontare Pinocchio.
The architectures, cities, and landscapes imagined or just suggested by Carlo Lorenzini in "The Adventures of Pinocchio. Story of a puppet" (left in the novel for the readers' imagination) are reinterpreted here through drawing and photography.
All figures interact with each other dialectically through invention, the transfiguration of reality, and the vivid splendour of narrative fiction. Photography and drawing interpret the puppet's story, leaving the re-constructed landscapes to the imagination, full of references to lived-in spaces, in a timeless journey towards any fantastic destination.
In every place and age, it is possible to tell the story of Pinocchio.
